Ezra had kissed plenty of people in her past. And yet, not a single one of those kisses compared to each kiss that happened between her and Jasper. She felt like she was going to burst into flames from the heat between them, or maybe the water would just begin to boil. As Jasper’s hand tangled in her hair, Ezra took in a sharp breath, as if something had surprised her. Which, the ferocity of her passion most certainly had.
The shock of air against her wet skin brought her back to her senses, despite the feeling of yearning as Jasper parted from her and then offered the warmth of the car. Shivering as he leaned down, her legs unhooked from him and found purchase on the ground as he set her down. There were already goosebumps rising along her arms and legs. The water might have still been just warm enough to swim, but that didn’t mean fall still wasn’t coming. The night air was brisk and she was entirely too exposed and too soaked to defend herself against it. Still, she glanced over at the car, and then back at Jasper. Reaching up to her hair, she twisted it in her hands, letting the water fall to the ground. ”What about the seat getting wet?” She asked, her words shaking slightly as the shivers grew stronger. Ezra could sit on her dress - even though that meant sitting in the car in just her underwear and bra - but even that fabric likely wouldn’t stop the wetness from soaking through.
Her heart was still hammering in her chest, and if it was up to her she’d probably climb him like a tree and start kissing him again. Which was a bad idea, especially because she was making a half-assed effort not to string him along. If he wanted to lay down boundaries, then those only helped her. His lack of clothing, however, did not. Ezra’s gaze was fighting the urge to give him a once-over, a small smirk forming on her face.
Jasper felt bad for a moment. Watching the cool breeze cause a shiver to ripple over them both. But it was expected. The cooler months were starting to roll in. He gave her a small smile, rubbing his hands up and down her arms to try and warm her up before he released her so she could wring out her hair. He reached up and did the same to his, feeling the goosebumps take over his own body as the chill ran through him.
“What about the seat getting wet?”
He shrugged his shoulders lightly as she spoke. “Take your wet stuff off, put your dry stuff on. “ He offered, nudging her towards the car and continuing trying to warm her up. “I’ll look away so you can redress. No big deal.” He said as he reached out and opened his passenger side door for her and then tossed his own clothes over to the drivers side. “And no peeking at me either.”
Ezra raised her brows teasingly as he voiced his idea on how to avoid ruining the seats, letting out a soft laugh as he herded her towards the vehicle, hands running along her arms. It was a sweet gesture, and it - more than the idea of being naked so close to him - made her nervous. So she couldn’t help herself from tossing him a devilish look. ”Ah, well, you can peek if you want to.” The flirtation in her words was obvious, that mischievous little grin on her face growing as she stepped towards the open doorway. Her gaze followed him for a moment before she ducked her head and grabbed her dress, turning so that she was facing outward.
Thankful that this wasn’t a popular spot, so there wasn’t a chance there was someone peeping - well, other than Jasper, of course - Ezra hung her dress on the car door before she reached back to unhook her bra, sliding the straps off. Underwear quickly following, the cool night air raised goosebumps along her skin. The urge to glance over her shoulder was strong, but she managed to exert some self control and grabbed her dress, sliding it over her head. The fabric was slightly sheer, but not so much that her nudity beneath was extremely obvious. As she tied the ties around her waist, she felt that smile on her face growing again. ”Are you decent?” She asked, tilting her head slightly.
He didn’t miss her flirtation. Not one bit. He had even caught himself smirking a little to himself as he walked around to the drivers side of his car. “Careful, little one.” He warned her. The same warning he had said to her when they had first met. And he had a feeling she was going to remember that as well. By the time he reached his side of that car and reached in, she had her back to him and he caught the movement she made to reach behind her. He went to stand up quick, to turn around to give her privacy. And all that did was cause him to thump his head into the roof of his car. He reached up and rubbed the back of his head as he grabbed his pants and quickly got out of the car and turned his back to her.
Jasper did not turn around. He removed his undergarment and quickly redressed, jumping a little since the denim didn’t want to easily go on his damp body. But once he was good to go, he took a deep breath. Hearing her ask if he was decent, he took a chance to peek over his shoulder. When he noticed she was redressed, he smile and slid into the drivers seat, starting up the car so it purred to life. Let that be the answer for her. “Come on, Ezra. Let’s get you home.”
Ezra laughed as he gave her that little warning he seemed to like so much. She was definitely enjoying teasing him, but she knew she should quit while she was ahead. Turning at the sound of the vehicle starting up, she ducked down and into the passenger side, closing the door and then slipping her feet back into the shoes she’d abandoned earlier. Glancing over at Jasper, she gave him a pointed smile as she pulled the seatbelt across her body. Her wet hair was even more curly than her dry hair, the damp coils falling over her shoulders. ”Thanks for letting me kidnap you.” She told him, settling back into the seat and letting herself relax.
Another shiver ran down her spine, and she reached out to turn the heat up. The dress wasn’t exactly meant for fall, and it certainly didn’t help that her damp hair was wetting the fabric on her shoulders and back. Though she had to admit that she’d enjoyed this little excursion, and didn’t regret it in the slightest.
Jasper always knew she was a little tease. That she liked to make him squirm, even if he didn’t always outwardly show it. And part of him loved it. He lived for it. Thrived on it even. He couldn’t help but smile back at her as she gave him that grin and buckled up. Good, at least she had learned her lesson the first time. And as she thanked him, his shoulders shrugged lightly. “Thanks for kidnapping me. And showing me your secret spot.” He told her, nodding his head towards the lake that they had been swimming in minutes before.
He made sure that the AC was kicking with heat to warm her up before he placed a hand on her knee and got them back on the road again. Maybe he was making moves a little stronger now towards her. He couldn’t help himself. She was like a magnet and she pulled him to her. Without even trying. Jasper drove her back to her bike, and followed her home to make sure she got inside safely before he headed back to his little apartment above the garage.
