Aaron was deployed in Syria not too long. Maybe like a year? And he sold information about his unit’s patrol schedule to the local rebels which then attacked their truck while on patrol/on the job. What he didn’t know (and the only reason he feels guilty about it) is that his girlfriend who was part of the Army Medical Unit was on the ride as well. No one survived.[break][break]
Now here we have ____ who is a witness of everything. Maybe the daughter of the rebel leader. Maybe just a regular civilian. But she witnessed him accepting the bribe, giving out the information and saw how the convoy got attacked. MAYBE if she’s just a random civilian… maybe someone close to her was killed in the attack as well so she blamed him.[break][break]
So shortly after she would have moved to Lethford City where she sees him now that he’s there too and recognizes him, perhaps threatening to expose him. So maybe she turns the tables. Usually it’s him threatening others, forcing them to do things and making them give him money. Maybe it’s her doing it now because if he doesn’t comply he will end up in jail.[break][break]
I’m not sure where I want this to go but I could see enemies… maybe they will partner up? Maybe enemies turn lovers? Or just to reap certain benefits.
