Arden is punctual, always knowing to show up before the time selected. Even if its just for meeting someone for coffee. She is dependable when it comes to her friends, family, and job. She is where she needs to be and will do everything in her power to be able to help those out who need her help. She is passionate about what she does and never gives less than her everything when she has set her mind to something, which can be a good and bad thing. Sometimes it can get in her way of what is best for herself. She has a sense of humor, able to easily banter with others on the radio at work or in person she can hold her own over a long neck. Arden does her best to do what she thinks is right and tries to help any who may be headed down the wrong path if she sees any potential in saving them.
Arden was one of three. The first child, the one that would pave the path for the others to follow behind in a normal and functional family. She had two younger siblings, all sisters. Their father was a military man, so they traveled around quite a bit when she was younger. She even lived in Italy for a year when her father was stationed there. She still knows a few phrases in Italian to this day, which always brings up fond memories. When Arden was ten, her father was killed in action and thats when the hard times really hit for the Parker family.
Her mother was not ready to support a family on her own, and struggled to find jobs that she could hold down and support the family. Which meant that she was gone at all odd hours and the majority of the day. And that would lead to a young Arden having to step up and raise her two younger siblings. Making sure that there was some form of food packed for the school lunches, even if it was only a cheese stick and she had to go to school hungry. Scrapping together dinners, helping her siblings do home work. When she was old enough, she started working to help provide for the family. Even though their mom seemed to at least cover a roof over their head, she didn't help much else with the rest. Choosing to buy scratch off tickets and talk big on what they would do if they won. Which she only ever won $50 twice, which was dumped back into scratchers.
By the time she was a teenager, Arden was beyond her years. Having played mother for as long as she had and finding that the high school drama just wasn't for her. She had better things to do then spend her time bickering over boys or latest trends. She was lucky enough to just have clothes that didn't have stains on them. As her siblings got older, they got more independent, which helped eased the responsibility off of Arden. She joined the Air Force reserves as a back up, but made sure to be as present as possible. Even renting out her own apartment when she could afford to and her siblings moved in immediately. The deal was she covered rent, they covered electric and water bills, and they could figure out the rest from there.
Once her youngest sister turned 18 and showed she could survive on her own, Arden left the reserves at 25 and joined the Air Force, already having a title and lots of training under her belt. Arden quickly found her place when she decided to become a pilot. A helicopter pilot to be exact. And she has loved every moment of it since she passed her required training. When the virus broke out, the middle sister had gotten really sick at the same time. Leaving the two other sisters to grow concerned and try their best to support her without putting themselves in harms way. In the end, she became another one of the numbers of lives lost to the pandemic.
Arden got the assignment to head to Lethford as part of air support. She takes her job in strides and has put her mind to doing the best she can considering the rough circumstances that have been given to the world.
